How to Find Antonyms of Words Easily
1. Define the word.
2. Think of a meaning opposite to the word.
3. Read all answer choices
4. Eliminate those choices that do not relate
5. If one choice is left, that’s your answer
6. If more than one choice remain, go back & repeat.
How to Learn Antonyms of Words Effectively
1. Look the word up in the dictionary and/ or thesaurus - Most synonyms and antonyms are not evident after the first. Do consult your dictionary or/and thesaurus to find out the meaning of the words.
2. Make them personal - Personalize words by using them in your everyday conversations, including them in a short story or poem you are writing and so on. Maintain a diary, if possible.
